Fantasy Quest Power Calculator
This fantasy calculator translates role-playing stats into a single Arcane Might Score so storytellers can gauge how prepared a hero is before sending them into a legendary quest. It blends the hero's level, available mana crystals, artifact enhancement percentage, and how long the quest will keep them away from rest. Higher scores indicate the hero can maintain stronger spells, shield allies longer, and endure tougher foes. Use it whenever you build encounters, balance a tabletop campaign, or outline a fantasy novel.
The calculation tiers every attribute: hero level establishes base potential, mana crystals add burst capacity, artifact bonuses multiply every action, and quest duration subtracts stamina because long adventures drain focus. The formula is basePower = (heroLevel × 65) + (manaCrystals × 18); totalPower = basePower × (1 + artifactBonus ÷ 100); staminaPenalty = max(0.1, 1 − questHours ÷ 200); Arcane Might Score = totalPower × staminaPenalty. The calculator also estimates how much mana should be rationed per day to avoid burnout.
Example: A level 42 battle mage carrying 180 mana crystals, boosted by a 25% relic, and embarking on a 36-hour infiltration has base power 5,970. Artifact energy raises it to 7,462.5 and fatigue drops it to an Arcane Might Score of 6,119.25 arcane points, with a recommended daily mana reserve of 604.8. This means the hero can overwhelm elite guards but still needs rest before holding a city gate.
