Army Pay Calculator
This army pay calculator helps soldiers and planners estimate an accurate monthly paycheck by combining base pay, housing and food allowances, hazard-duty earnings, and any mission-specific bonuses. Enter the monthly base pay tied to grade and years of service, add the current Basic Allowance for Housing and the Basic Allowance for Subsistence, then include how many days of hazardous duty are expected along with the daily rate authorized for that mission. If a special-duty bonus is paid monthly, add that as well. The calculator converts all inputs into a single total so troops can plan budgets, compare assignment offers, or verify leave and earnings statements.
Example: A Staff Sergeant with 8 years of service might enter 4363 base pay, 2100 housing allowance for a high-cost station, 452 subsistence, 10 hazard-duty days at 7 per day for airborne jumps, and a 150 special-duty bonus. The tool would show 7015 in total, matching what the soldier should see on a leave and earnings statement. Adjust hazard days when rotating in and out of combat zones, or update the housing allowance when PCS orders change, to keep the estimate realistic.
